Libby Glover, having graduated from Kendall College in Chicago with a Baking and Pastry degree in 2009, pursued creating a local bakery that provided classic desserts made in a new fresh way.

Four and Twenty Blackbird Bake Shop was created by Libby  in 2013.  It is a micro bakery that infuses classic techniques with fresh innovation to make flavorful small batch desserts and pastries, perfectly exemplifying Libby's vision for the ideal bakery.

The Early Bird is the official food truck for Four and Twenty Blackbird Bake Shop!  We serve French Quarter inspired beignets and coffee by Libby's favorite coffee roasters in town, One Line Coffee.
